What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?

Categories of Information Collected

To provide you with our services, we require you to provide the necessary personal information. If you do not provide personal information, you may only be able to use some features within the App.

We collect the following categories of information (whether or not they are personal information):

• Profile Information: We may collect and use your Tartoow account, WeChat account, phone number, avatar, personal signature, nickname, gender, time zone, and language.
• Shopping Information: When you shop using Tartoow, we collect your order-related information, including but not limited to order data, shipping address, and contact information.
• Operational and Security Information: To provide a safe, reliable product and user environment, ensuring the normal, stable operation of related products or services, and protecting the safety and legal interests of you, other users, or the public, we collect the following necessary information:
  • To ensure the safe operation, quality, and efficiency of software and services, we collect your hardware model, OS version, device identifiers (such as IMEI, AndroidID, OAID, IMSI, ICCID, GAID, MEID for Android; IDFV, IDFA for iOS), network hardware address (MAC address), IP address, WLAN access points (SSID, BSSID), Bluetooth, cell tower data, software version, network access method, type, status, network quality data, operations, usage, service logs.
  • To prevent malicious programs and ensure operational quality and efficiency, we collect information on installed apps or running processes, overall app performance, usage frequency, app crash data, overall installation and usage data, performance data, and app sources.
  • We may use your account information, device information, service log information, and information from our affiliates or partners that you have authorized or are legally allowed to provide, to determine account security, transaction security, verify identities, identify illegal activities, detect and prevent security incidents, and take necessary record, analysis, and action measures as required by law.
• Personal Physical Data: When you activate Tartoow, we require you to provide your date of birth, height, weight, and gender data.
• Device Data: When you synchronize data from related devices using Tartoow, we record personal data, including activity information, sleep information, weight, distance, exercise time, etc.
• Call Information: When using the call reminder feature, Tartoow will obtain data related to incoming calls and your phone contacts. With your permission, incoming call and contact data will be used for device display, but Tartoow will not store your incoming call, SMS, or contact data.
• Phone Information: When using Tartoow, we need to obtain your phone's OS version, mobile phone brand and model, phone hardware identifier (such as IDFA, IMEI), phone system time, and phone alarm settings.
• Network Usage Data: We may collect network type, signal information related to specific Tartoow features.
• Location Data: When using Bluetooth connection and the App is in the background, we may collect your location data to keep the jewelry and App in continuous Bluetooth connection.
• Feedback Information: When submitting feedback, we may collect relevant user feedback logs, contact information, etc., based on your choices.
• Device Information:
  • When connecting a hardware device using Tartoow, including but not limited to the device's unique identifier, firmware version, and related usage statistics (non-personal data), this will be transmitted to the server. This data collection may also apply when updating your system or software, restoring factory settings, etc.
  • When the App runs in the background, to ensure the jewelry can send and receive messages normally, we need to obtain data such as MAC address and Bluetooth connection status.
• Information Submitted Voluntarily When Using Related Features: If you choose to post your status in the Tartoow community, the images, texts, and other information you voluntarily share will be collected for sharing; if you participate in activities organized by Tartoow, the information generated from such activities will be collected to assess whether the activity standards are met; if you set goals in Tartoow, your exercise goals and weight goals will be collected to alert or notify you when goals are met. If you choose to use the female health feature, the menstrual cycle duration, interval days between cycles, the start date of the most recent cycle, and each submitted start date, end date, physical condition, and mood during the menstrual period will be collected. If you choose to create your watch face, the images you upload will be collected to set as your watch face background.
• Family and Friends Information: When using the family and friends feature, you can choose to add other users as your family or friends. With their authorization, their related data (such as activity data, sleep data, weight data, etc.) will be displayed to you.
• Visitor Information: When using the visitor feature, third parties can experience our products and some services. We will collect necessary personal data according to the service category provided. Visitor data will not be used for any other purposes.

Among this information, some may individually or combined with other information identify you. We collect this information to provide you with our products' basic functions. If you do not agree to provide the information, you may not be able to use the related features.
